Introducing Baby Girl Higginbotham!!!!

We officially began our adoption journey on September 21, 2012 when we submitted our application to our adoption agency. Almost a year later around 9:20 p.m. on September 9, 2013 we saw our daughter for the first time. And here she is....

We are still trying to finalize a name so for now we will continue to call her Baby Hope. She is 13 months old. We hope to travel to get her in January or February of 2014. She will be 7 months younger than her big sister Isla and just over two years younger than biggest sister, Olivia.

We are all so in love and cannot wait until we can go get her and bring her home to meet her family. 

We are waiting on our Letter of Acceptance from China which can take anywhere from about a month to about 5 months. We know our Dossier (paperwork in China) has been translated which is the longest part of the wait so we are hoping to hear something in the next month or two. Please pray for our sweet girl. We will keep you posted once our LOA arrives. After that the paperwork moves quickly and traveling will be here before we know what hit us.
